What to send us

  • Best: Vector Files

    .AI, .EPS, or vector .PDF. These scale perfectly and give our digitizing team the cleanest starting point for sharp, professional embroidery.

  • Also Works: High-Res Raster

    .PNG or .JPG at 300 dpi or higher. Make sure the logo is large and crisp — the higher the resolution, the better the result.

  • Already Have a Stitch File?

    We accept .DST, .EMB, and .PXF files from previous vendors. If yours meets our quality standards, your setup fee is waived.

  • Only Have a Low-Res File?

    Send it anyway. We'll review it and let you know if it's workable or if it needs to be recreated — we'll guide you either way.

Size & Placement

  • Front panel maximum: 2.25″ tall × 4.5″–5″ wide
  • Minimum readable text: 0.20″ (5mm) tall — anything smaller loses definition in thread
  • Line length: a single line fits about 20 characters before it needs to wrap

If your design falls outside these limits, we'll flag it during proofing and work with you to adjust it before anything is stitched.

What Embroiders Well

  • Clean lines, bold shapes, and solid colors
  • Logos, text, monograms, and graphic artwork
  • Designs with a limited, defined color palette

What Doesn't Work

  • Photographs and portraits — too much detail is lost when translated to thread
  • Fine gradients, shadows, and subtle color blends
  • Extremely thin lines or tiny text below the minimum height

    What is digitizing?

    Digitizing converts your logo into a stitch file our embroidery machines can read. A skilled digitizer maps every thread path, stitch type, and density for your exact hat fabric — it's a craft, not an automatic conversion. For orders of 12 or more, digitizing is included. For smaller orders, a one-time $50 setup fee covers it, and it's never charged again on reorders with the same logo.

      Color Matching

      Embroidery thread comes in a wide range of colors, but it's a different medium than print — an exact 1:1 match isn't always possible, and thread can look slightly different on fabric than on screen. Your digital proof shows the exact thread colors we've selected. Review them carefully before approving; once you approve, those colors are confirmed.
